Residing in a high-end development, the homeowner wanted his own definition of charm - something that stood out from the conventional.

The unit’s spatial planning was crucial to cater to both the homeowner’s family lifestyle and guest tenants of Airbnb.

On a conceptual level, the unit hints an industrial courtyard theme, seen in a 30ft feature brick wall balanced with chic touches to meet the needs of a weekend Airbnb rental home while staying true to the personal taste for a raw, masculine vibe.

The presence of light is important to highlight the overall theme look. Since a high-rise unit has limited space for natural light, the usage of wide glass windows and sliding doors were used for good luminosity.

The living room greets with a three-coloured tone - white, grey and black to capture a vast open space in a more intimate way. A touch of warm yellow light adds to the coziness. Furnishings were kept at a minimum to maintain the look of an industrial courtyard, yet key in ensuring an impression at every corner of the unit. The finishing of the unit was designed child-friendly to suit the homeowner’s young children.

一幅30英尺高的特色砖墙，凸显了该单位的工业庭院主题概念。室内别致的设计除了满足周末Airbnb出租屋的需求，同时保持了屋主刚强的个人风格与品位。

光线的设置在突出整个主题上扮演着非常重要的角色，高层建筑的自然採光有限，所以我们选用宽大的玻璃窗和滑动门引入更多光照。

客厅以白、灰、黑三色为主，让广阔开放的空间更显亲密，而一缕温暖的黄光更是为整个空间增添了丝丝的舒适感。为贯彻落实工业庭院的风格，我们摆设极少家具，却不忘确保每个角落都各具特色。整个单位的装潢也不忘注入适合屋主孩子活动的设计元素。
