‘Old Home, New Dreams’ were the confident words of this lovely married couple, in the presence of their children.

The 40-year old house they recently purchased didn’t quite echo their lively, chirpy personalities. What was once home to foreign workers, came with loose ends that were too obvious to go unnoticed.

This property’s atmosphere saw a new light with a vocabulary of strong colours that reflects a playful, positive environment they needed. With a myriad of colour tones, the balance of colours and distinctly unique objects were carefully positioned so it breathes a soothing effect instead of an overpowering one.

The focal point of the entire house is at its heart - the living room, because that’s where most communal activities take place for this family of five.

我们採用缤纷鲜明的色彩为这间黯然失色的旧居注入新生命，塑造一个充满活力、希望的新环境。而在鲜明的色调中，我们小心地摆设家具与饰品，尽量达到色彩与物体之间的平衡，让整个室内空间毫无压迫感，甚至带来一种让人宽心的感觉。

我们将整个室内设计的焦点放在客厅，因为这是整个家的核心，也是这一家五口共聚天伦的空间。
